CREATING THE PSYCHIC YOU came into being after years of working with people.  Throughout the years, I found that many people were under the false impression that being psychic takes some kind of special talent.

So I set out to write a book that would show people ways to relax and tap into their intuition and psychic abilities without months of practice.

By the time the book was finished, it spanned three volumes.  That simply wouldn't do.  So I went to work cutting down the original manuscript.  The editing and testing took over three years.  It was difficult, but it was done without removing anything a person needed to know to develop their psychic ability.  AS it became shorter, it became better...  More intense.  And it worked, perhaps even better than the original manuscrip.

During the revisions, I kept going over everything.  I did not want to leave anything out, but removed unnecessary chapters, examples and double explanations, leaving enough to show a reader how to do the exercises.  In doing so, I added a couple of chapters and they answer many of the questions people have.  The result:  one book, in three sections.  It was worth the time spent revising.  I have something that works for the person who wants to expand - or just understand the ability they have.  That always was my main goal.

And then, the final test came.  After the book was published and released to the public in 1995, I started to get comments from readers.  I found out that some people were able to do readings within hours after learning the basic methods   I use myself.  Most people think doing psychic readings is difficult.  These comments showed that nothing could be further from the truth.

I had seen and read some books dealing with the development of psychic abilities, but none seemed to work for me. So I set out to write a book which I hoped would actually help others to develop their psychic potential. My aim was not to lecture or to criticize. Nor did I care to change the belief systems of others by insisting on my own formula for developing their abilities. The only thing that I felt needed to be accomplished was to help people to get out of the "I CAN'T" frame of mind. Everyone has psychic abilities to some degree or other. You have to use those abilities as "they" tell you, NOT as someone else tells you. If people think that they have to go through a major change in lifestyle before they begin to develop their ability, it's no wonder they give up. Of course, nobody can guarantee success in developing psychic abilities with any method. Results will depend on the level of commitment, dedication and belief of the individual.
